Your Gift In Action

Through the combined efforts of over 2,000 members, our generous donors, partner agencies and community advisors, The Junior League of Austin invests more than $1 million and over 100,000 volunteer hours in our community each year. Our focus areas are youth, education, cultural enrichment, and health and well-being.

Your annual gift:

  • Provides warm coats for more than 30,000 children annually through Coats for Kids
  • Promotes education of young women in the Con Mi MADRE...Mothers and Daughters Raising Expectations
  • Provides meals each weekend to over 700 elementary school children who qualify for the National School Lunch Program through the FIT Program
  • Assists local non-profit agencies through financial resources and trained volunteers from The Junior League of Austin in our annual Community Project Partnerships
  • Encourages creativity in our schools through Aid for Better Classrooms (ABC) Grants
  • Awards Emergency Fund grants to agencies with emergency needs
  • Provides Sponsorship Fund grants to local non-profit agencies addressing a community issue or serving a need
  • Provides Disaster Relief Fund grants to agencies who need financial assistance to serve the community after a disaster
  • Develops and implements an on-going series of Volunteer Training and Leadership Development Programs for The Junior League of Austin members
