The Sponsorship Fund is available to any non-profit agency for events, excluding fundraisers, that address a community issue or serve a need in the Austin area. Applications should be submitted at least 60 days in advance and no more than one year prior to the event date. The awarded funds do not exceed $3,000 per application. An agency may apply more than once per League fiscal year, but may only receive a JLA Sponsorship grant once every three fiscal years (June 1-May 31).
In order to be considered for the Sponsorship Fund grant, each applying agency must supply a completed application, copy of the agency's IRS letter of Determination of Tax-Exempt Status, list of the current Board of Directors and a copy of the agency's budget.
The Junior League of Austin and the Sponsorship Fund grant recipient enter into a contract if awarded the funds. Please note all grants must be spent within 150 days of the contract award date.
