As the weather gets warmer and the days are sunnier, you might be looking for other ways to celebrate the Easter holiday or just the first signs of spring. A mix of in-person and virtual events this year means there is an option for every family!

Virtual Easter Events in Austin, TX

Egg Dying Live Stream: Brought to you by the New Braunfels Park and Recreation Department, this livestream Facebook Event is free and for all ages. Follow along step-by-step to learn some fresh and exciting ways to dye eggs with common household objects. Tune in on Monday, March 29, 2021, at 6 p.m.

Virtual Easter Bunny Photos: Great for kids scared of the Easter Bunny, this virtual photo shoot is as easy as it gets. Send in a photo of your children or family and have it photoshopped into a picture with the Easter Bunny. No crying kids and a great keepsake for 2021! Price: $8 each.

In-Person Easter Events in Austin, TX

Twilight Egg Hunt and Movie in the Park: A fun family event for all ages. Head out to Old Settlers Park in Round Rock on Thursday, April 1 at 6:30 p.m. for a twilight egg hunt followed by a showing of the movie Trolls. Excellent for social distancing, the event features over 400,000 square feet of space. General admission is $5.

Easter Eggstravaganza: For families looking for a more traditional egg hunt, try Riverbend Church’s annual event. Featuring games with prizes, Kona Ice, and 10,000 Easter eggs—there is something for everyone. Tickets are free but required to reserve your spot.
