The Junior League of Austin recently won the Distinguished Partnership Award at the Del Valle ISD Education Partners Awards banquet for our support of @DVISD schools through our FIT- Food In Tummies and Coats for Kids programs. The Junior League of Austin recently launched a new signature program called KICS: Kids In Cool Shoes. JLA kicked off the pilot program at Guerrero-Thompson Elementary in the Rundberg neighborhood. 3 DIAD volunteers helped at the Girl’s & Giving, Gin & Jazz event which raised over $60,000 for to support the Partnerships for Children, a non-profit organization that leads a collection of programs that offer resources, support and comfort for foster children and families in our community.
