Fighting Hunger in Travis County

The Junior League of Austin is proud to be honored as the 2012 Outstanding Philanthropic Organization.  This award is given by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater Austin Chapter.

FIT wins Distinguished Partnership Award

The Del Valle ISD Adopt-A-School program held their annual Year-End Celebration on May 15, 2012 to honor the top district and campus adopters, volunteers, and mentors. Baty Elementary and The Junior League of Austin won the Distinguished Partnership Award for partnership on the Food In Tummies (FIT) program. This award is given for outstanding teamwork between the campus and adopter; highlighting the achievements of the “team” and how the combined effort impacted the outcome.
