A Christmas Affair® (ACA) tickets are available for purchase here.

This ticket includes general admission access to the Market only. Children ages 5 and younger do not require a Market ticket.

Due to capacity limitations and fire code requirements at Palmer Events Center, strollers, rolling bags, wagons, and carts are not permitted at ACA.

More ways to sip, shop, and play. Season of Light comes alive across a full slate of refreshed events. Sip and Shop is growing this year with the addition of a Friday morning experience on Nov. 20, giving early risers two chances to claim first pick of shopping from 8:30-10 a.m.

Our holiday mahjong tournament returns with a new home at the Community Impact Center on Friday, Nov.13, from 5:30-8:30 p.m., while still including a Market Day general admission ticket the following weekend.

Introducing the Texas Makers District. New to the Market this year, the Texas Makers District will feature eight merchants along the exterior Market hallway, giving guests even more to discover on their way through the doors.

Drop it up front; grab it near the exit. Coat and bag check works a little differently this year. Drop-off is still at the main lobby entrance, but pick-up has moved to the exit near Santa’s Corner and the Texas Makers District to reduce pick-up lines. It’s the same easy service, just a new spot to pick up on your way out.

Shop longer, shop comfortably. Palmer Events Center will operate two new concession stands inside the Market, offering snacks, meals, and drinks throughout the day. Guests can refuel without ever leaving the shopping floor, which means more time browsing.

Transportation and Parking

Parking at Palmer Events Center is managed by the City of Austin and is not included with the purchase of your ticket. Payment is collected at the entrance to the garage, and The Junior League of Austin receives no portion of the parking fees. Due to limited availability, we recommend guests carpool or rideshare. Complimentary offsite parking and shuttle services from Barton Creek Mall are available. Parking is prohibited in the neighborhoods surrounding Palmer Events Center.

Purchasing Tickets

How will I receive my ticket?
After you check out, you will receive an email from info@jlaustin.org with a link to your electronic ticket(s). Simply print the ticket(s), or present the ticket on your phone as you enter the event.

Is Market entry included in a party/event ticket at Palmer?
Yes, tickets purchased for parties at Palmer Events Center include same-day access to the Market. If you purchase a ticket for a party, you will receive a wristband upon entry that will admit you to both the Market and the event.

Is Market entry included with a Children’s Event ticket?
Market entrance is not included with the purchase of a photo with Santa package or Children’s Event ticket. Those events are held at The Junior League of Austin’s Community Impact Center and not at Palmer Events Center.

Do children need their own Market Day ticket?
Children under the age of 5 years are free to enter the Market at the Palmer Events Center. Due to space and capacity limitations at Palmer Events Center, strollers are not permitted in Palmer Events Center.

For Children’s Events at The Junior League of Austin’s Community Impact Center, all children over the age of 6 months will require a ticket. Children 6 months and younger do not require a Children’s Event ticket but will not have a separate seat.

Do I need to print my ticket?
While you may print your ticket, we can also scan your ticket(s) directly from your mobile device.

Can I purchase multiple tickets at once?
Yes! If you purchase multiple tickets, they will be delivered in one email with a single link for you to download to your device or to print.

Do you offer a discount (senior, military, group, etc.)?
No, we do not offer discounts to our events, as A Christmas Affair® is a fundraiser hosted by The Junior League of Austin.

Are strollers, wagons, rolling bags, or carts allowed at A Christmas Affair®?
No. Due to space and capacity limitations at Palmer Events Center, strollers, rolling bags and carts are not permitted at A Christmas Affair®.

Strollers ARE only allowed at The Junior League of Austin’s Community Impact Center for Children’s Events.

Is there somewhere we can store shopping bags and other items?
Yes! You may pay to check your coat, shopping bags, and other items at bag check in the lobby and inside the main ballroom of the Palmer Events Center.

Do you allow re-entry into A Christmas Affair®?
Same-day re-entry is permitted. Upon exiting, you will receive a hand stamp allowing you to re-enter during Market hours that day. If you would like to return to Market another day, you will need to purchase another Market Day ticket.

I’m a Sustainer in The Junior League of Austin. How do I check in?
We will have a designated check-in spot in the Palmer Events Center lobby for JLA Sustainer check-in if you do not have a member badge. Sustainers will receive a hand stamp, which will allow them all-day Market access.

Is there a place to nurse or pump during the event?
Yes! Palmer Events Center offers two mothering rooms on-site for your comfort and privacy, located next to the North Lobby elevator. The Community Impact Center also offers a mothering room.

Is Palmer Events Center ADA accessible?
Yes! Palmer Events Center is ADA accessible, with accessible entrances, restrooms and pathways throughout the venue. Learn more about the venue’s accessibility.

Do you offer a sensory-friendly space at the Children’s Events?
Yes! We offer a dedicated sensory room with low lighting, reduced noise, and calming tools for children who need a quiet break. Parental supervision is required.

Food and Beverage

Are meals available during Market hours?
Food can be purchased during Market Day hours in the Market hall concession stands or at the food trucks outside on the West Canopy (hours vary).

Beverages
Concessions and bars are available on site at the Palmer Event Center. The Junior League of Austin receives no portion of the sales.

Is alcohol served at Children’s Events?
No. Children’s Events are alcohol-free.
